"DSPITCH" was founded in San Francisco in 2010 by designer Richard Liu. Inspired by military hardware, it initially started as a camera strap manufacturer. The camera straps, made with abrasion-resistant Mil-spec nylon used by the US military and parachute cords, quickly gained attention from many photographers for their functionality and high quality. Their minimalist design was also well-received, making them popular items in no time.
