The fourth-generation C-Class (W205) marks a full model change after seven years, replacing the previous W204. The sedan model has begun deliveries in Japan, and it's becoming increasingly common to see them on the streets. The station wagon is scheduled to arrive in October, and the highly anticipated AMG model was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, further heightening interest. This feature covers the new C-Class, including overseas and domestic test drives.

Racing driver Kumi Sato test drives the Mercedes-AMG C 63, the flagship model of the new C-Class, which was introduced to Japan in May. She tests the new machine, powered by a newly developed V8 twin-turbo engine inherited from the AMG GT, on both public roads and a circuit.

Features V8 Twin-Turbo Engine from AMG GT

The power unit for the highly anticipated C 63 AMG is a new V8 twin-turbo engine derived from the Mercedes-AMG GT. The top model boasts a maximum output of 510 hp and a peak torque of 700 Nm, matching the AMG GT. This marks the birth of the most powerful C-Class ever.
