Stephanie Takes a Step Towards the Future Through Her Connection with Ali

Stephanie, a killer whale trainer at Marineland, suffers a severe injury that results in the loss of both her legs when the stage collapses during a performance. While in despair, she meets Ali, an awkward man who struggles to express affection.

Ali, a former nightclub bouncer now working as a night watchman, is a single father. Instead of treating Stephanie with pity, he guides her into the sea, fully aware of her condition.
