Like a "Savory Afternoon Tea"

Pullman Tokyo Tamachi, the first Pullman in Japan, opened in October 2018 as a premium brand of the Accor hospitality group, headquartered in France. Guests are welcomed by a playful design that fuses Japanese and modern aesthetics with the concept of "kabuku" (to be avant-garde), along with art that stimulates inspiration.
In addition to 143 functional guest rooms, the hotel features a modern rooftop bar, an executive lounge overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden, a casual dining area where you can enjoy a variety of artistic dishes made with seasonal ingredients in an open space, and a fitness center. Its convenience, directly connected to the JR station, is also a key feature.
The "Summer High Tea" at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi, inspired by Paris, the host city of the 2024 Summer Olympics and a focal point of attention, offers an experience akin to a "savory afternoon tea."
Drinks include free-flow champagne and cocktails. A free-flow course with 38 types of drinks, including seasonal cocktails, and a free-flow course centered on wine are available. The non-alcoholic course also offers 14 types of high-quality black tea, ensuring everyone can enjoy a fulfilling time.
Recommended is the seasonal cocktail "French 75," made with the Japanese craft gin "ROKU." The fine bubbles of champagne enhance the fresh taste of the gin. It's a sophisticated drink perfect for the hot summer.
Savories include traditional French appetizers like "croquettes" and "potato terrine." The lamb croquettes, created by the hotel's executive chef Koji Fukuda, who is an ambassador for Australian pasture-fed lamb from Victoria, are also recommended. The lamb jerky, made with lamb instead of beef, also enhances the flavors of the drinks.
The popular "O'Connor Ribeye Steak Sandwich with Victorian Pasture-Fed Beef" from Pullman Tokyo Tamachi's main dining restaurant, FUN DINING KASA, is also available in a mini size. This dish features the finest pasture-fed beef sandwiched between rich brioche made with plenty of free-range eggs. Despite its mini size, it's a hearty portion that will satisfy your hunger.
Coffee, soft drinks, and sweets are also available. With summer heat expected to continue, why not refresh yourself with sophisticated drinks and savories?

Homage to Sports Heroes: Energetic Pop Art Exhibition

French artist YSY (Youssef SY) is an artist who has lived in Japan for a long time and aims to bridge Japan and France through his projects.
Against the backdrop of the energy of Paris, where he was born and raised, and Tokyo, his pop art pays homage to sports heroes, blending a French touch deeply inspired by Japanese anime and manga with the futuristic sensibility of Tokyo, creating a unique and captivating expression.
He has particularly focused on his artwork during the transition from the Tokyo Olympics to the Paris Olympics, and from the Rugby World Cup in Japan to the Rugby World Cup in France. His creations are imbued with a passion for sports that has lasted since childhood and a deep respect for athletes.
The exhibition "Y-CONS of Play" features 12 works paying homage to sports heroes in three major sports: soccer, tennis, and basketball.
YSY commented on this event: "This exhibition is a dream come true for me. I am delighted to hold my first overseas exhibition in Tokyo. As a child, I used to attend sporting events at large stadiums in Paris, managed by Accor. I look forward to meeting everyone at JUNCTION at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi – a place where Japanese and French cultures intersect – during this special summer when the Paris 2024 Olympics are being held."
Admission is free. We invite you to enjoy the exhibition of pop art, a bridge between France and Japan, alongside the exquisite drinks and savories of the "Summer High Tea."
