Special Accommodation Plan: "Napa Valley Wine Stay with Screaming Eagle"
"Screaming Eagle" is one of the highly coveted cult wines, sought after by wine enthusiasts worldwide. It is produced on approximately 20 hectares of prime Napa Valley land. The vineyard's unique topography, which allows cool air to settle, is ideal for cultivating what is considered the most elegant Cabernet Sauvignon in the region.

The blend is determined through blind tastings of over 150 base wines, resulting in an extremely limited annual production of 500 to 900 cases (approximately 6,000 to 10,000 bottles) depending on the vintage. It is a "phantom wine," sold exclusively to mailing list subscribers.
This plan features a special dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant, Horikawa, offering a pairing of five exquisite wines. Alongside Screaming Eagle, guests will enjoy Kenzo Estate's "Asatsuyu," known for its refreshing character, and Kongsgaard's Chardonnay, celebrated for its rich fruitiness, showcasing the diverse expressions of Napa Valley.
The wine selection was curated by Kentaro Nishimura, sommelier at Wadakura, the hotel's Japanese restaurant. The pairings are designed to fully highlight the unique characteristics of Napa Valley, complementing the entire course, which features premium ingredients like Kobe and Matsusaka beef.

Deluxe King with Balcony
Premier Suite
As a special amenity, two books will be provided in the guest rooms, exploring the terroir of Napa Valley, the intricacies of winemaking, and food pairings. These books allow guests to continue experiencing the charm and lingering impressions of Napa Valley even after their stay.
This plan was realized through the collaboration of "Napa Valley Vintners," a non-profit association of local wineries, and "Visit Napa Valley," the official tourism organization. For those seeking a deeper understanding, an optional online wine seminar with Ema Koeda, the Japan Representative for Napa Valley Vintners, is available for an additional fee.
This plan offers more than just a stay; it's an opportunity to deepen one's appreciation and understanding of wine. The intention is to allow guests to connect with the rich character and stories of Napa Valley through its wines.
This summer, why not immerse yourself in the world of Napa Valley's terroir and gastronomy for a night, right in the heart of the city?
