A highly anticipated new painted model joins the Kutani BE@RBRICK series, a collaboration between MEDICOM TOY and Midland Creation.

This 400% BE@RBRICK features movable joints and is crafted from the fine white porcelain of Kutani ware, a traditional craft boasting 360 years of history and popular both domestically and internationally as a representative craft of Ishikawa Prefecture.
The first painted model was released in September 2019. At that time, OPENERS visited kilns and painting studios in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, with Mr. Yoshito Naka, representative of Midland Creation, serving as our guide, and introduced the production process.
