This year marks the 130th anniversary of crystal maker Swarovski. To commemorate this milestone, a dazzling 400% BE@RBRICK has been released, its entire body adorned with the company's crystals, renowned for their diamond-like brilliance and clarity thanks to special cutting techniques.

Swarovski is celebrated for its high-quality crystal glass. Founder Daniel Swarovski, driven by the philosophy of "a diamond for everyone," invented a groundbreaking machine capable of cutting crystals with unprecedented precision. Manufacturing began in Wattens, Austria, in 1895.

The reputation of its precisely cut crystals was highly acclaimed in the fashion world, and its fame soared after being used in Christian Dior's collection in 1957. Since then, Swarovski crystals have become an indispensable decorative element for countless designers.

In the 1970s, factory artisans created the company's first object, a crystal mouse made from chandelier spare parts. Relations with the Palace of Versailles in France began in the 1980s, leading to the recreation of magnificent crystal chandeliers. In 1995, to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary, Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds), a museum designed by multimedia artist André Heller, opened in Wattens, attracting tourists from around the globe.

In 2004, Swarovski adorned the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York with 25,000 crystals, adding sparkle to the holiday season. At the 79th Academy Awards in 2007, a 10-meter-high curtain of 50,000 crystals shimmered behind Hollywood stars.

This BE@RBRICK, entirely covered in the brand's crystals, radiates a beautiful glow that tells the story of its 130-year history. The design on its back subtly reveals the word "SWAROVSKI" through variations in crystal size.
