High Potential for Commercialization
The Brabus version unveiled this time is a sporty variant of the smart fortwo EV, slated for production at the end of 2009. While currently positioned as a concept car, this model appears to have a realistic chance of reaching the market.
The base vehicle is the fortwo EV Cabrio. This model features a sports suspension, Brabus Monoblock VII alloy wheels, and LED daytime running lights, creating a more athletic appearance.
The exterior and interior are coordinated in green and white, emphasizing its eco-friendly nature.
This model also incorporates 'Sound Generation,' which emits various sounds depending on driving conditions. This feature adds a sporty sound experience, contrasting with the silent operation typically associated with EVs. It also likely contributes to pedestrian safety.
