Hublot is a renowned name in Japan as a luxury watch brand. The 2016 pre-Basel press conference left a very glamorous impression, largely due to the presence of special models.

The "La Ferrari" is a particularly striking piece. This time, a limited edition with a sapphire crystal case was introduced. Furthermore, a new series of "Big Bang" ladies' models featuring embroidery, a technique used in the 2015 collection, was also presented. The skull motif remains, making a distinct impression. The collection also included official watches for Euro 2016 and the Champions League, offering a rich selection.

Expressing Ferrari's Mechanics

The underside of the watch houses the tourbillon carriage. At the top, flanked by the barrels, the time is displayed on the right, while cylinders on the left indicate the power reserve. Every concept is mechanical and unique.

The new "MP-05 La Ferrari Sapphire" not only features a see-through sapphire crystal front but is constructed entirely from sapphire crystal. The movement can be viewed from all angles, resembling a transparent model of a Ferrari engine.

Furthermore, the hour and minute cylinders, as well as the power reserve cylinders, are transparent. Even the strap is made of transparent skeleton silicone, showcasing a meticulous dedication to transparency. Hublot's interpretation of the Ferrari world is truly overwhelming.

The "Big Bang Broderie" released at pre-Basel in 2015 showcased a new form of "fusion."

Broderie means embroidery. The dial and strap were adorned with elaborate embroidery. Bischoff, a top Swiss embroidery house, created a feminine aesthetic by applying delicate floral arabesques and skull embroidery onto silk organza. The skull motif (sugar skull) stood out on the dial, offering exceptional uniqueness.



The new "Big Bang Broderie" for 2016 unfolds an elegant and original world of embroidery within a new case. The dial is created by layering special transparent resin and carbon fiber onto the embroidered material, finishing the surface flat to ensure strength as a watch face.

Official Watches Fueling a Passion for Football

Hublot was the first luxury watch brand to partner with the Swiss national team in 2006, and in 2010, became an official partner of FIFA, serving as the official timekeeper for numerous events. Under the banner "Hublot Loves Football," the referee boards displaying "Hublot" for substitutions and added time are familiar sights to football fans.

While producing numerous football-related official watches, Hublot unveiled the official watches for Euro 2016 and the 2016 Champions League, the "Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph," at this pre-Basel event.

This chronograph is designed primarily for measuring football game time, with the time displayed on a sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The main feature is the two retrograde hands, arranged in a fan shape from 10 to 2 o'clock on the dial, which measure game time. These allow for the measurement of regular 45-minute halves, as well as added time and extra time, making it a true chronograph for football.

These limited editions feature special colors. The Euro 2016 model incorporates the blue, white, and red tricolor of the host nation, France. The Champions League model is colored in the league's symbolic midnight blue. Both are rare limited editions of 100 pieces each, making them highly desirable chronographs for any football fan to commemorate the events.
