Perfectly Aligned with the Brand Concept: The Joy of Nurturing Your Own Unique Watch

Since 2010, a trend has emerged of using bronze as a case material for premium watches. This was a revolutionary development in the realm of premium watches, where the goal is typically to prevent aging.
This concept is based on the fact that bronze has been used since the mid-20th century for professional deep-sea exploration equipment and ship propellers. Given TUDOR's history of supplying divers' watches to navies worldwide, it's likely that TUDOR's divers' watches and bronze have had a close relationship for a long time.
TUDOR first adopted bronze as a case material in 2016. While there were no bronze models among its earlier heritage pieces, we can celebrate the long-awaited union of the two in the modern era.
Now, even within the term 'bronze case,' the alloy composition varies by brand, which is why the coloration is not uniform. TUDOR's bronze cases are crafted to have a subdued reddish hue, allowing the dark patina to stand out beautifully.
TUDOR enhances corrosion resistance by incorporating aluminum. This makes the cases resistant to sweat and results in relatively gentle aging. You can slowly and deliberately cultivate a patina that suits your personal taste.
Previously, TUDOR offered bronze models only in its "Black Bay" collection, which featured cases larger than 41mm. This time, however, they have introduced a bronze model within the 39mm "Black Bay Fifty-Eight" collection. Furthermore, it's a "full bronze" model, including the bracelet, making it exceptionally rewarding to age. The bracelet itself is a newly developed, in-house design equipped with the T-fit adjustment system.
TUDOR champions the philosophy of "BORN TO DARE." Be bold, be yourself. The ability to express your unique character through the patina on both the case and bracelet perfectly embodies the brand's concept; it's a truly fitting item.
