Blancpain has added the "Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph" with a new green dial to its "Fifty Fathoms" collection. This timepiece features a distinctive green, enhanced by unparalleled expertise and technology in dial manufacturing, that displays subtle nuances depending on the light.

The Allure of a Delicate Green Dial Crafted Through Numerous Processes

The "Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe" is Blancpain's iconic dive watch collection. Its distinctive character is built upon exceptional performance, robustness, and a unique style that has continuously evolved while respecting the collection's DNA.

Following black, meteor grey, and blue, a chronograph version, the "Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph," now features green from dial to bezel.

In the manufacturing process for this dial, a sunburst finish is applied, creating lines that radiate from the center to give the surface a special texture. This is followed by the hollowing out of the chronograph counters and a snail finish to add depth.

After these processes, the dial moves to a highly technical coloring stage, where it is coated with multiple nano-layers. This creates a dial that appears green, and at times metallic, depending on the light.

The movement is equipped with a chronograph mechanism controlled by a vertical clutch and column wheel, and features a flyback function that allows the chronograph to be instantly reset to zero and restarted by pressing the push-button at 4 o'clock.

This in-house automatic chronograph movement operates at 10 vibrations per second, ensuring particularly high precision in timekeeping.

The new "Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph" is available in two versions: a 43.6mm satin-finished black ceramic case fitted with a rotating bezel featuring a green ceramic insert, paired with either a NATO strap or a sail canvas strap.
