Sixty Years of Oris and the Dive Watch
ORIS | Oris 60th Anniversary Edition
Oris revives its 1965 dive watch. Featuring an iconic bidirectional bezel, it recreates the signature details with modern technology.
Timeless Looks Meet Modern Functionality
Founded in 1904, Oris continues to captivate watch enthusiasts with its reasonable pricing, solid craftsmanship, and in-house movement development. Dive watches are an indispensable part of the Oris brand narrative.
In 1965, Oris released its first dive watch. With a stainless steel case and a bidirectional bezel, its playful yet unique design, combined with a highly legible dial, made it the perfect model for the burgeoning sport of scuba diving.
Now, 60 years later in 2025, the Divers Sixty-Five Anniversary Edition arrives, reviving that special design.
The 40mm stainless steel case is equipped with a bidirectional bezel and a stainless steel bracelet, housing the Swiss automatic movement Oris 733. True to the original, the black dial balances vintage charm with contemporary sophistication.
The "anti-shock" label at 6 o'clock, the short indices, and the numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock echo the original's aesthetic. Naturally, luminous treatment ensures legibility.
Beneath the retro Oris logo, the word "waterproof" is inscribed. This detail instantly identifies it as a dive watch and conveys Oris's strong confidence in its engineering. The case back features a special engraving commemorating the 60th anniversary, a fitting touch for this milestone edition.
An interchangeable leather strap is also included, completing a package perfect for water activities.
The 60th Anniversary Edition is packed with Oris's passion and expertise in dive watches. Combining a vintage look with a modern movement, this timepiece is poised to become a key player in the retro dive watch trend.
