L'École, School of Jewelry and Art, to hold classes from February 2019, teaching everything from the basics to the essence of jewelry and decorative arts – reopening in Tokyo, Japan for the first time in six years.

French High Jewelry Maison Van Cleef & Arpels will host L'École, School of Jewelry and Art, which it supports, in Tokyo from Saturday, February 23 to Friday, March 8, 2019.

At a press conference held on September 26, 2018, regarding L'École, our guest, French Ambassador to Japan Laurent Pic, stated, "Both Japan and France have immense respect for art, and we are delighted and it is meaningful that the decision has been made to hold L'École in Tokyo."
Marie Vallanet-Delhom, President of L'École, explained the school's offerings: "This session of L'École features many programs designed to appeal to a wide audience, including courses held in Tokyo for the first time and workshops for children." Nicolas Bos, President and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, added, "Japan is a very important country to Van Cleef & Arpels, which has been influenced by Japonisme. We hope that L'École will be attended by a broad range of people, including those with high curiosity and a desire to learn."

From Saturday, February 23 to Friday, March 8, 2019, L'École will offer 15 lectures, 5 creative workshops, and evening conversations.
