The cast delivers superb performances, thanks to their immense trust in director Hiroki's team.
A woman who had convinced herself she could never be happy, and a man in his fifties who believed he would never find love or a stable home. This film depicts the two gradually coming to terms with "loving another person" through their awkward cohabitation.
The film is directed by Ryuichi Hiroki, who has previously portrayed various forms of love in works such as "My Darling is a Marine" and "100 Times to Cry."
Nana Eikura plays the protagonist, Tsugumi Dōzono. She portrays an adult woman contemplating her future between love and career, marking a new frontier for her. Etsushi Toyokawa stars as Jun Kaieda, a university philosophy professor who falls in love with Tsugumi. He transforms into a silver fox for this role, perfectly embodying the ideal mature man – both sexy and dapper.
The supporting cast is a luxurious ensemble, including Osamu Mukai, Sakura Ando, Tomoya Maeno, and Kiê Negishi, from promising young actors to veteran performers, all contributing to this love story unique to mature men and women.

Tsugumi Dōzono, who had been building a busy career in Tokyo and experiencing painful relationships. One day, exhausted by everything, she quits her job and begins to live quietly in the countryside house where her grandmother resided. Prompted by her grandmother's unexpected death, she meets Jun Kaieda, an unmarried university professor.
Kaieda claims that Tsugumi's grandmother had entrusted him with the key before her passing. He bluntly tells Tsugumi, "I've taken a liking to you," and forcefully moves into the annex of the house. Although Tsugumi is initially bewildered by the courtship of a man much older than her, she gradually begins to open her heart.
