Discover the Secrets of Tiffany & Co., the World's Most Coveted Brand.
A documentary film about the world-renowned jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., which has captivated people across generations since its founding in 1837, is set for release. The film begins with episodes about Charles Lewis Tiffany, the brand's founder, known as the 'King of Diamonds,' and goes on to reveal the story behind the birth of the brand's signature color, 'Tiffany Blue,' as well as the behind-the-scenes of Academy Award jewelry selection. It also delves into untold stories, including anecdotes about Tiffany's clients like Jacqueline Kennedy and former U.S. Presidents Lincoln, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and Obama, as well as its connections to major American sports events such as baseball's New York Yankees, tennis, golf, and basketball.

A highlight is the untold story behind the creation of Audrey Hepburn's iconic 'Breakfast at Tiffany's,' a dream for many. The film opens with a memorable scene from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' where the protagonist, Holly, visits the Tiffany & Co. flagship store in New York with writer Paul, her eyes drawn to a yellow diamond in the display. The necklace featured here is the 'Ribbon Rosette,' designed around 1956 by renowned Tiffany designer Jean Schlumberger, boasting a legendary 128.54-carat yellow diamond at its center, one of the largest in the world.
The connection between Tiffany & Co. and Hepburn reportedly began when Walter Hoving, then president of Tiffany & Co., proposed a photoshoot of Audrey wearing a diamond necklace in exchange for allowing the filming of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' at the Tiffany & Co. flagship store. This mutual agreement led to Audrey's photographs, adorned with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, becoming a global sensation.
The fateful relationship between Tiffany & Co. and Audrey continued even after the film's release. She even sent a letter to Tiffany & Co. for its 150th anniversary, demonstrating a lifelong bond. Through the film, Audrey not only brought global recognition to the Tiffany & Co. name but also played a pivotal role in establishing Tiffany & Co. as an object of desire for women worldwide.

This film, 'Crazy About Tiffany's,' also features numerous scenes where Tiffany & Co. provided jewelry for films. It explores Tiffany & Co.'s involvement with popular works such as Elizabeth Taylor in 'Cleopatra,' Marilyn Monroe, 'Ocean's Eleven,' 'Bride Wars,' and the TV series 'Friends.' Exclusive interviews are also included with Baz Luhrmann, director of 'The Great Gatsby' starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and Rob Marshall, director of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and 'Chicago,' as well as actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyneth Paltrow wearing Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Prominent figures from the political world also appear, including President Obama, Queen Elizabeth, and Jacqueline Kennedy, wife of President John F. Kennedy. Francesca Amfitheatrof, who became Tiffany & Co.'s first female Design Director in 2013, is also featured, offering a glimpse into the secretive world behind Tiffany & Co.'s creations. The trailer concludes with Audrey Hepburn's famous line from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's': 'I'm crazy about Tiffany's.' The film is filled with breathtaking jewelry, sure to elicit gasps of admiration.
The director is Matthew Miele, known for his documentary 'Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's,' which explored the allure of Bergdorf Goodman, considered the world's finest department store, located on New York's Fifth Avenue.
Miele commented on the film, stating, 'I became increasingly fascinated by Tiffany's history woven into American culture, its relationships with celebrities, the enduring spirit of old New York, and the fact that it is more than just a jewelry store. What I wanted to convey was how Tiffany & Co. became integrated into American life, its contributions, and its status as a cultural icon.' He concluded with a laugh, 'Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' was my first love.'

'Crazy About Tiffany's' will be released on November 5 (Saturday) at Shinjuku Musashinokan, Human Trust Cinema Yurakucho, YEBISU GARDEN CINEMA, and other theaters.
