While active in the fashion world, Agnès b. has also poured her passion into film, designing costumes for numerous theatrical productions. Now, she takes on her first challenge as a film director under her real name. Set in and around the Bordeaux region of France, she has completed a peculiar road movie about a runaway girl and a truck driver.

The protagonist, a 12-year-old girl, was abused by her father. One day, she climbs into a truck that happens to be stopped by the seaside during a school excursion, and embarks on an escape with the Scottish truck driver. Though they cannot communicate, speaking French and English respectively, the two gradually begin to connect.—.

Over 10 years ago, inspired by an article she read in the newspaper, Agnès herself wrote the script and also handled the filming and art direction. The truck driver is played by Douglas Gordon, director of 'Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait' and a contemporary artist.
