Luke's, founded in 2009 in Manhattan, New York, is a specialty lobster roll shop that now operates 14 stores across the United States. The shop is known for offering lobster, often perceived as a high-end ingredient, at reasonable prices. While lobster dishes at restaurants typically cost around $30, here you can enjoy it for about $15, drawing daily queues of both New Yorkers and tourists.

Luke's can offer lobster rolls packed with fresh lobster at affordable prices because they purchase directly from fishermen at Maine's ports and process the catch at their own factory immediately after landing. For seasoning, to enhance the natural flavor of the ingredients, they use only a touch of mayonnaise, lemon butter, and a proprietary spice blend.



The interior of the Omotesando store, which opened on April 28th, reflects an American style similar to the brand's stores in the U.S. With exhibits like buoys and nets traditionally used for lobster fishing, it evokes the rich natural environment of Maine.

The lobster rolls are priced at ¥980 for regular size and ¥1580 for the US size, with the shrimp roll at ¥950. Set menus start from ¥1350. While lobster may not be a common sight in Japan, the densely packed meat is sweet and full of umami.
