Reporting on the Pre-Opening Event for Estnation Futako-Tamagawa

Futako-Tamagawa, Tokyo, a district of growing interest, is steadily progressing with the second phase of the Futako-Tamagawa Rise construction, aiming for completion in Spring 2015, and seeing year-on-year increases in passenger traffic. On the evening of April 24th, the day before the grand opening, a pre-opening event was held to celebrate the launch of Estnation's seventh store, "Estnation Futako-Tamagawa."

Offering a Fulfilling Time with a "Home Party" Concept

The pre-opening event for "Estnation Futako-Tamagawa" featured not only shopping, including exclusive limited-edition items for the opening, but also welcomed guests: Naoko Okusa, a popular stylist and fashion editor who collaborated on items with Estnation this spring, and Nicolai Bergmann, a floral artist.

With a "home party" concept, the event focused on the collaborative items between Naoko Okusa and Estnation, and their styling. It included an introduction to "The Closet," Okusa's personal selection of favorite items, and a space adorned with the vibrant yet elegant floral designs of Nicolai Bergmann, evoking the spirit of Futako-Tamagawa. Furthermore, catering that offered a taste of home-party hospitality added to the festive atmosphere.

The Futako-Tamagawa store offers men's, women's, and also children's wear. The lineup for children, including unisex collections from "5PREVIEW" and brands favored by the daughters of overseas celebrities like "ANTHEM OF THE ANTS" and "BLUE PONY VINTAGE," also drew considerable attention.

A Great Success with Abundant Food and Surprises

Okusa offered personal styling advice, while Bergmann personally delivered his impromptu floral arrangements to the tables where guests were enjoying their meals. Autographs, handshakes, and photos were also taken in a casual manner, creating a lively atmosphere of close connection.

Bergmann also created special, small box flowers for the party. As a surprise, he presented these box flowers, stacked to resemble a single tree, to guests who stayed until the end.

The catering that graced the event featured food from popular French establishments "OGINO" and "L'eau Bleue," as well as sweets by Hideo Yokota, patissier at "Kashikobo Oakwood." Combined with a comprehensive drink service, it truly created a home-party-like experience.

A brochure distributed to guests as a party guide included introductions to Naoko Okusa's collaborative products and styling, as well as "Spaces with Flowers" curated by Bergmann. It also featured catering recipes and shop information, offering content that guests could enjoy even after returning home, and was met with great acclaim.
