Installation Created for Omotesando Store Unveiled Simultaneously
The Dior Homme Omotesando boutique is reborn as a new luxury space. On the renovation day, Saturday, October 12th, a special installation by the Paris-based artist duo M/M Paris and Kris Van Assche will be unveiled.
This installation is part of a collaboration project with various artists, taking place in select Dior Homme boutiques worldwide. This particular installation is said to embody the creative background of the collection.
Regarding this work, Kris Van Assche commented, "By presenting unique pieces, we felt we could emphasize the global identity of the Dior Homme Omotesando boutique and express a special connection to the location."
And at this opening, the Spring 2014 collection will be showcased for the first time in the world. It was also announced that to highlight the importance and individuality of each season, independent collections will be presented for Spring, Summer (runway collection), Autumn, and Winter (runway collection).
Furthermore, on the opening day, a wallet exclusive to the Omotesando store will be released.
The boldly applied paint pattern is inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock. It can be considered an iconic item that embodies the mood of the latest collection.
