At "Irresponsible Gallery," the gallery space attached to Maison (MY) Labo., a solo exhibition "ZOO -Atama Ari-" by GARA designer Takeshi Nitoara will be held from Saturday, February 12, 2022, to Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Limited Collaboration Sneakers to Commemorate GARA's 10th Anniversary Also Debut

The "Irresponsible Gallery," attached to Maison (MY) Labo., operates under the concept of a "new space for experimental endeavors." While it's a casual and "irresponsible" gallery space, embracing a wide yet shallow approach to culture, art, science, and more, it serves as a venue to foster new possibilities born from the "works" of artists and the "boxes" crafted by designer Mihara.
The third event in this series, "Irresponsible Gallery 3rd Exhibition," has now been decided. We invite Takeshi Nitoara, active as a GARA designer, for his solo exhibition "ZOO -Atama Ari-."
Nitoara is active in a wide range of fields, including clothing and lifestyle goods, with a focus on fashion accessories created using handmade techniques. He also works as a sculptor, creating three-dimensional objects for displays.

For this solo exhibition, he has created unique works, each with a distinct character, using deer antlers as the primary material. These are presented as original wall-mounted hunting trophies that also function as accessory hooks.
Additionally, a limited collaboration sneaker commemorating GARA's 10th anniversary will be released. It is based on the popular original sole sneaker "HANK" model from Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO.
