BROOKS boasts a history of over 100 years and developed the first EVA-equipped shoes in 1975, a feature now common in the running shoe world. The brand has established the "standard" in footwear, supporting countless runners from beginners to top athletes.

The "Ghost" series, a flagship model, was born in 2008 and received the prestigious "Editor's Choice" award from Runner's World magazine in the US in 2010. It has since been updated repeatedly, receiving the same award nine times, solidifying its reputation as a highly acclaimed model.

The biggest feature of the "GHOST MAX," released this time, is its thick sole. To protect the body from joint pain and injuries that can occur during running and prolonged exercise, it uses the brand's proprietary "DNALOFTv2" midsole foam, the thickest in the series' history. This reduces pressure on the soles of the feet, providing a soft and comfortable feel.

Furthermore, the midsole drop is designed to be 6mm, half that of previous Ghost models. The "GlideRoll Rocker" sole structure promotes smooth heel-to-toe transition, providing a sense of effortless running while maintaining stability. Additionally, like other Ghost series models, it achieves carbon neutrality. By using recycled materials equivalent to ten plastic bottles and supporting carbon offset projects, it is certified as a carbon-neutral product.
