Hermès presents the Hermès Theater "LA FABRIQUE DE LA LÉGÈRETÉ—The Workshop of Lightness" at Tokyo Midtown Hall in Roppongi. The event runs from Sunday, June 12 to Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Admission is free with advance booking. This is the world premiere in Japan.

An Opera Sung by Humorous Hermès "Kelly" Bags
The Hermès Theater "LA FABRIQUE DE LA LÉGÈRETÉ—The Workshop of Lightness" is a poetic spectacle brimming with dynamism and emotion, embodying Hermès's 2022 annual theme, "Let's Be Light." The production was helmed by Belgian directing duo Jaco Van Dormael, a film director and theater director, and Michèle Anne De Mey, a choreographer, along with the dance company Astragale.

The Hermès Theater unfolds a six-act narrative depicting Pegasus, the mythical horse that gallops across the heavens, and its six foals. This journey of Pegasus is brought to life through delicate hand movements in dance, miniature props, and live projections.
Audiences are delighted by a world of joy and lightness, featuring a miniature circus ring where finger puppets move with elegant grace, a dance performance of lovers embracing under the blue sky, and an opera sung by humorous Hermès "Kelly" bags.
