From Rare Archival Pieces to Recent Iconic Looks

Launched in 2020, Louis Vuitton's traveling exhibition "SEE LV" has visited major cities worldwide, with this being its fourth stop in Tokyo's Roppongi. The exhibition showcases a curated selection of historical archives and recent creations from the Maison's heritage collection. Visitors can delve deeper into the world of Louis Vuitton through an immersive digital experience.
The exhibition is structured around five themes, bringing together rare collections of contemporary looks, trunks from the early 20th century, collaborations between the Maison and artists, and leather goods.
The first theme, "Find Your LV," features a digital artwork by Turkish digital artist Refik Anadol, who utilized artificial intelligence (AI) to create a portrait of a 20-year-old Louis Vuitton.
The next section, "A Journey Through Fashion," focuses on Louis Vuitton's fashion, showcasing looks from the collections of Artistic Director Virgil Abloh and Nicolas Ghesquière's first shows since joining the Maison, as well as recent looks.
The third theme, "The Story of Bags," presents Louis Vuitton's iconic bags displayed on walls, introducing past bags and recent collaborations model by model. A "Flat Trunk" made of Monogram canvas from 1906 is also on display.
The next exhibition room showcases a variety of products, from the innovative "Wardrobe Trunk" and "Skateboard Trunk" designed to adapt to evolving lifestyles and travel habits, to a 1920s "Car Trunk" and a raincoat that transforms into a tent, unveiled in the 2020s. There is also an exhibition room where visitors can interactively experience the Maison's iconic Monogram.
