The American Eagle Outfitters Ikebukuro store, the fourth in Japan, opens on three floors within the "Ikebukuro Square" building, situated near the center of Sunshine 60 Street in the east exit area of Ikebukuro Station. The first floor will feature women's wear, the second floor will offer women's wear and "aerie," American Eagle's sister brand, and the basement floor will house men's wear, making it the largest store in Japan.





On the grand opening day, the 21st (Friday), in addition to the special novelty gift presentation event by Rui Kurihara, the first 800 customers will receive original fingerless gloves as a gift on the opening day only. The first 800 customers who purchase over 5,000 yen will receive original knit caps, and the first 500 customers who purchase over 10,000 yen will receive earphones with earmuffs. Furthermore, the first 200 customers who purchase one or more bras from aerie will receive an original aerie tote bag.
