The IKEA Vintage Collection features reissued popular IKEA items from the 1950s to the 1970s, primarily focusing on living room furniture. Comprising approximately 25 items, including sofa sets, floor lamps, coffee tables, armchairs, textiles, and plates, the collection boasts retro forms and designs while utilizing cutting-edge modern technology and materials for its construction and quality.

Juni Wannberg, IKEA Museum Coordinator, who flew from the Swedish headquarters for the event, commented, "From the early 1950s, IKEA has been committed to offering complete room sets. In the late 1960s to late 1970s, we began offering items that allowed for comfortable living even in small spaces, adapting to the new lifestyles of young people." During the press presentation, episodes from the founder's childhood memories, the origin of the company name, and the story behind the 1956 coffee table were shared alongside slides.

IKEA's 70-year evolution is also presented through panel photographs displayed at the venue. Touching upon the founder's aspirations, this is an opportunity to incorporate this "modern vintage" into your own home.
