New Furniture Unveiled for the Exhibition
Chohashi's "yobitsugi" series is based on "yobitsugi," a traditional Japanese method for repairing pottery. Much like a vessel pieced together from fragments of different ceramics, he combines antique and new wood from various eras and styles to create a single piece of furniture. By weaving together diverse components, he crafts rich expressions, imbuing each piece with the sentiment of "connecting people and objects through shared memories."
This exhibition features a collection of new works. Tables, benches, stools, and coffee tables—each a unique, one-of-a-kind piece—will be on display and available for purchase. We invite you to experience Chohashi's creations firsthand.
