An exhibition tracing the lives of designers Charles & Ray Eames, who created new design trends during the mid-century era, titled "essential EAMES," will be held from Friday, December 7th to Tuesday, January 15th, 2013, at Living Design Center OZONE (3F OZONE Plaza).

Eames Demetrios to Attend December 7th Talk Session
The exhibition "essential EAMES" is based on the content of the book "An Eames Primer" (Japanese title: "イームズ入門―チャールズ&レイ・イームズのデザイン原風景" published by Nihon Bunkyo Publishing), written by Eames Demetrios, the grandson of Charles and Ray Eames and director of the Eames Office. Through materials, actual works, and video, the exhibition offers a renewed look at the Eameses' design philosophy and spirit.
<Talk Session 1>
"The Timeless Designers: The Present Relevance of Charles & Ray Eames"
The work of Charles & Ray Eames continues to influence many fields today. In this talk session, Eames Demetrios will join us to explore the present relevance of their designs through the trajectory of their work and activities.
