Over 100 Items, Including Furniture and Tableware, on Display

Nordic Form, which proposes a Nordic lifestyle centered around iconic furniture, presents "CLASSIC FURNITURE COLLECTION 2016 ~ Where Beautiful Forms Gather ~," a curated selection of Nordic vintage furniture and tableware.

Now in its 17th year, this event features a selection curated with a focus on the female perspective. It includes desks known as "ladies' writing desks," extendable dining tables useful for gatherings and parties, and nesting tables. Additionally, rare items such as sewing tables—chosen by women in Denmark as pieces to be used throughout their lives—will be available, offering a sense of delicate femininity and softness.

The collection features furniture by Hans J. Wegner, highly popular in Japan, alongside Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates, vintage small items from the 1950s and 60s, and plates from Bing & Grøndahl, the originators of the annual plate. Among the over 100 items on display are pieces crafted more than a century ago.

This promises to be a valuable opportunity for collectors and fans of Nordic design alike.
