MAMES is an artist unit comprised of Kenta-rou Shirakawa and chami. Since their formation in 2005, they have expressed their unique worldview through original paintings, sculptures, art, ink wash paintings, fashion design, and music. In recent years, they have expanded globally as an art brand. Their portrayal of fragile beauty through the characters "LONELY GIRL"—a lonely child who is more delicate and pure than anyone, and struggles to smile—and her best friend "BUTTON," has added a new dimension to MAMES' work. In 2020, they held their solo exhibition "DestinyLand" at 2G TOKYO, a culmination of their diverse activities. Their collaboration with Anne Valérie Dupond, transcending French and Japanese borders, also garnered significant attention.
For this "AKASHIC RECORDS 2021 ~Phantom Parade~," in addition to their collaboration with Anne Valérie Dupond, MAMES will be offering original paintings and custom-painted one-off STATUES via lottery. Experience their unique worldview firsthand at the venue.

Born in California in 1985, Levi Pata is an artist with Native American ancestry. He lived in Tokyo for two years starting in 2009 and experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011. After returning to the US, his interest in the culture and language of his ancestral Nomlaki tribe deepened. He also reconfirmed the commonalities with Japanese culture, which emphasizes a nature-centric perspective. He is currently based in Japan again. In 2019, he contributed his artwork to the "1ONE MY WAY" 2019FW collection by TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist., which was presented at Paris Fashion Week.
In 2021, he published "Genesis Place/The Tree of Beginnings: Stories of Contemporary California Indians" (Seidosha). In this era, plagued by various threats, authorities, and natural disasters, Pata has penned a requiem using text, poetry, and artwork, weaving together his past, present, and future aspirations as a voice for the present generation, reflecting on the Earth, humanity's existence, and history.
His work, which fuses spontaneous painting, drawing, photography, and poetry, is expected to gain even greater prominence.
For his first participation in "AKASHIC RECORDS 2021 ~Phantom Parade~," Pata is responsible for the main visual. At the venue, T-shirts featuring the main visual, a collaboration between Levi Pata and TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist., along with tote bags, pint glasses, and posters will be available. A large drawing will also be sold via online lottery. Don't miss this chance to acquire art pieces perfect as souvenirs.

Founded in 2003 by designer Kunihiko Morinaga, ANREALAGE derives its name from "A REAL" (everyday), "UN REAL" (unreal), and "AGE" (era). The brand focuses on the subtle twists of the unreal within the everyday, drawing inspiration from overlooked details. Guided by the belief that "God is in the details," their designs are characterized by vibrant, intricate patchwork, unconventional silhouettes that defy the human form, and the active use of technology and new techniques. They debuted at Paris Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2015 season. In 2016, they opened ANREALAGE AOYAMA, followed by the ANREALAGE FLAGSHIP SHOP in 2017. In 2019, they were selected as a finalist for the LVMH Prize. In 2020, they collaborated with Fendi. Most recently, for their SS22 "DIMENSION" collection, they presented a digital collection using animation in collaboration with Mamoru Hosoda's latest film, "Belle." Medicom Toy has released BE@RBRICKs featuring ANREALAGE's signature floral patterns from their resin dry flower series, rendered with water printing on clear bodies, and a ceramic aroma diffuser for room fragrance, the BE@RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT. For "AKASHIC RECORDS 2021 ~Phantom Parade~," they are participating with the "ANREALAGE×S.H.I.P&crew PATCHWORK BE@RBRICK 1000%" and the "Gravity dot coat."
The "Gravity dot coat" is an A-line silhouette coat from the GROUND season, themed around the inversion of gravity. The dot pattern appears to float upwards towards the sky as if released from gravity, with the hem transitioning to a solid color, all rendered in jacquard weave.

From Nagoya to the world. In 2017, Shelterbank made a spectacular global debut with "FANG," a fabric figure incorporating a bendable mechanism. The following year, they achieved record success at DesignerCon in Anaheim, and in 2019, they collaborated with the renowned design studio House Industries to release "JACK THE FOX." Their unique worldview, sculptural beauty, and color sense—irresistible to fans of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's "Rat Fink" and Bill Campbell's "Weird-oh"—are sure to captivate more people in the future. While they have released numerous items with Medicom Toy, including the sofubi "MUTRON" and VAG "VONGO," for "AKASHIC RECORDS 2021 ~Phantom Parade~," they will unveil the highly anticipated new "Noisy" and the large-scale object "BANG."

Asami Matsumura is an illustrator and merchandise producer known for her works with a retro comic book aesthetic, themed around "harmony between nostalgia and newness." At the "Halloween Art Jam" held at Seibu Shibuya last October, she released merchandise featuring illustrations of members of the popular rock band "tricot." It's also memorable that the analog record "Itazura" by tricot, for which she created the artwork for AKASHIC RECORDS, was pre-sold at the same time. Since then, she has released "Gachapos Manpuku Neko Sono Yon" and the VAG "MARIA" with Medicom Toy. For this year's "Phantom Parade," she will be offering original drawings of her popular character MARIA via online lottery. Experience her cute yet demonic art style at the venue.

Kaori Hinata, the creator of the now globally popular character "MORRIS," began her artistic activities in 2009 after being selected as a FEWMANY AWARD finalist. In 2016, she unveiled "Morris The Cat with Antlers," a character based on her own designs and sculptures. Since February 2021, the comic adaptation "MORRIS ~The Adventure of the Cat with Antlers~" by manga artist Kamentotsu has been serialized with great popularity in Kadokawa's "Young Ace" (Volume 1 scheduled for release in March 2022). For "AKASHIC RECORDS 2021 ~Phantom Parade~," she is presenting "GIZMO MORRIS [BLACK]," a collaboration with Gizmo from the movie "Gremlins," and five unique "ONE-OFF PROP MORRIS" pieces custom-painted by Mayonaka no Circus artist Yako, all available via lottery.
Mayonaka no Circus is a fashion brand launched in 2014 by designer Yako, who previously worked as a fashion designer, illustrator, and accessory designer. The brand's concept is a "glamorous nightmare circus." The five "ONE-OFF PROP MORRIS" pieces, named WHITE PRINCE, BLACK PRINCE, GREY SAILOR, BORDEAUX SAILOR, and NAVY SAILOR, are all incredibly intricate and charming, making them highly sought after. Those captivated by these pieces should not hesitate to enter the lottery.

Following last year's "AKASHIC RECORDS," a new, one-off version of the striking "Lilith" relief from "Evangelion" will be presented alongside new works. The artist, NAOKI ENDO, is none other than Naoki Endo, representative of CCP, a sofubi manufacturer known for "Kinnikuman" and the "Ultraman" series. Akashi, deeply impressed by the relief Endo had previously created as a personal project, personally invited him to present it at "AKASHIC RECORDS," leading to his participation as an artist rather than under the CCP banner. This piece boldly reinterprets the Second Angel, Lilith, crucified on a giant cross. Experience Endo's signature muscular rendering and overwhelming presence firsthand at the venue.
