Packed with Cycling-Friendly Features like Water Resistance and Cycle Computer

Bicycles, particularly road bikes, have gained popularity in recent years. Panasonic is introducing its first portable navigation system compatible with bicycles.

The "Gorilla" is designed for cars, bicycles, and walking, with a size that makes it easy to handle on a bike.

Measuring 117.8mm wide, 81mm high, and 18.5mm deep with a 4.3-inch LCD, it comes with a bicycle mounting cradle, allowing immediate use on both bicycles and in cars upon purchase.

What truly stands out are the comprehensive features supporting cycling. It boasts water resistance and an integrated cycle computer that displays speed, distance, duration, and calorie consumption at a glance. The navigation system includes a turn indicator guide that flashes like a turn signal and announces upcoming turns audibly, and GPS logs can be stored for up to 90 days.

It also offers robust features for car navigation. With 8GB of internal SSD storage, it includes extensive map data such as 35 million address searches, 38.5 million phone number searches, expanded views of complex intersections, highway interchange diagrams, and lane sign displays. It also incorporates detailed city maps at 5m, 12m, and 25m scales, enabling precise guidance even to destinations on narrow streets. Furthermore, it includes a pedestrian-only map and allows route searches based on three criteria: "distance priority," "roof priority," and "walkability priority."

Additionally, it functions as a photo frame, capable of displaying slideshows of digital camera images via an SD card, showcasing its versatility for various situations. It has been developed into a highly convenient portable navigation device.
