Volvo Cars has announced that the new electric SUV, the EX30, will be unveiled on Wednesday, June 7th, at 8:30 PM JST, coinciding with the release of a teaser and video.

Volvo has announced the upcoming release of a new compact BEV, aligning with its goal to become a fully electric vehicle manufacturer by 2030.

Volvo already offers the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge BEV models in Japan. Furthermore, the EX90, a three-row, seven-seater SUV representing the pinnacle of Volvo's BEV lineup, has also been unveiled. The EX30 is expected to join this lineage as a compact SUV.

Details about the EX30 are set to be revealed over the coming weeks. Orders and reservations will open in select markets simultaneously with the June 7th announcement.
