Enhanced Performance Reflected in Exterior
The latest "S" model, denoting Aston Martin's high-performance variants, arrives as the "DB12 S." It will be available in both coupe and open-top "Volante" versions.

The tradition of the "S" designation traces back to the road-legal racing car "DB3S," born in 1953.
In recent years, notable "S" models include the first and second generations of the "Vanquish S" released in 2004 and 2016, the "Vantage S" from 2011 and 2013, and the "Rapide S" also from 2013. The newly introduced "DB12 S" continues this long-standing tradition.

At the heart of the "DB12 S" lies a further enhanced 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. With an additional 20 ps, the maximum output reaches 700 ps, with a peak torque of 800 Nm and a top speed of 325 km/h.
Changes to the powertrain calibration, reducing gear shift times by over 50%, have shaved 0.1 seconds off the 0-60 mph acceleration, bringing it to 3.4 seconds.

The chassis has also been reinforced to enhance the sense of connection, precision, feel, and stability with this powerful machine. Software adjustments to the Bilstein DTX dampers are harmonized with increased rigidity in the rear anti-roll bar and camber settings.
A distinctive exhaust note is also featured, tuned to accentuate engine frequencies across the entire rev range. An optional titanium exhaust system is available, not only enhancing the sound but also contributing to an 11.7 kg weight reduction.

Another significant upgrade is the standard fitment of carbon ceramic brakes (CCB). The large-diameter CCBs, measuring 410 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear, improve braking performance and thermal capacity while reducing unsprung weight, contributing to linear brake response and consistent pedal feel.
With high fade resistance and a 27 kg reduction in unsprung weight compared to steel equivalents, these brakes also enhance steering feel and handling.

Furthermore, it is equipped with the next-generation Cornering Brake Control (CBC) system. Aston Martin claims that the predictive function of CBC enables tighter cornering lines from entry to apex.
The enhanced performance and sporty feel are also reflected in the exterior. The front features a new splitter and bonnet louvres, signaling its "DB12 S" identity.

The splitter is designed to appear lower and wider, while generating downforce and guiding airflow inside and outside the front wheel arches to suppress lift and enhance stability. The bonnet louvres aid in expelling heat from the V8 engine while also contributing to the aggressive front aesthetic.
At the rear, a fixed rear spoiler improves stability at high speeds. The newly integrated rear diffuser below it creates space for the distinctive twin exhaust tailpipes while suppressing lift, maximizing visual impact.

The interior features the "S" designation befitting the pinnacle of the DB12, accented with red anodized details. Interior trim can be selected from three options. 16-way adjustable Sports Plus electric front seats are standard, with optional carbon fiber seats available.
Deliveries of the "DB12 S" are scheduled to commence from April 2026.
