A Sportback variant with sharp styling has joined the Audi Q6 e-tron lineup.
The Q6 e-tron is based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) BEV platform, jointly developed by Audi and Porsche. The Sportback features a distinctive sloping roofline reminiscent of the iconic design of the first-generation Audi TT Coupé.
The Sportback, with its streamlined silhouette, has a vehicle height of 1,660 mm, 40 mm lower than the SUV, and achieves a drag coefficient (cd) of 0.26. This results in an increased driving range of up to 20 km compared to the SUV, which has a cd value of 0.28.
The rear tapers dynamically, with the rear quarter window curving upwards, emphasizing the unique style of the Sportback.

The interior is equipped with a 511-liter luggage compartment and a 64-liter front trunk. Thanks to the long wheelbase of 2,895 mm, the luggage capacity expands to 1,373 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
The Q6 Sportback e-tron models introduced in Japan will be available in three grades, featuring two battery sizes and two drivetrain variations.

The base "Q6 Sportback e-tron" is equipped with an 83 kWh battery and a motor generating a maximum output of 215 kW, with a maximum torque of 450 Nm and a top speed of 210 km/h.
The all-wheel-drive "Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro" features a 100 kWh battery, a maximum output of 285 kW, and torque figures of 275 Nm at the front and 580 Nm at the rear. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 210 km/h. The driving range is said to be up to 663 km on a single charge.

The top-tier "SQ6 Sportback e-tron" is equipped with two electric motors on the front and rear axles. With launch control mode engaged, it delivers a maximum output of 380 kW, with torque figures of 275 Nm at the front and 580 Nm at the rear. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h. The driving range on a single charge is 685 km.
Audi states that the front axle, redesigned specifically for the Q6 Sportback e-tron, significantly enhances driving dynamics.

Similar to the SUV, the Sportback's trailing arms are positioned ahead of the tie rods in the direction of travel. This optimization of axle kinematics further enhances driving dynamics and improves steering response.
Furthermore, the steering rack is mounted with high subframe rigidity, contributing to more agile responses. A newly designed steering system and the latest software control also contribute to its agility.
The charging technology is state-of-the-art, balancing everyday convenience with long-distance driving capabilities. In Japan, using a CHAdeMO-compatible DC fast charger with a maximum output of 150 kW allows for charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes. AC charging at home or other locations is also possible.
Pricing is set at 8.78 million yen for the "Q6 Sportback e-tron," 10.37 million yen for the "Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro," and 13.59 million yen for the "SQ6 Sportback e-tron."

To commemorate the global launch of the "Q6 Sportback e-tron," two limited-edition "Edition One" models have also been introduced.
The limited editions are based on the "Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro" and come standard with five optional packages, including the S line package and the Dark Audi rings & Black styling package.

Additional special features include dark headlight housings, red brake calipers, and 21-inch alloy wheels, creating a distinct sense of exclusivity both inside and out.
The "Q6 Sportback e-tron Edition One Grey" is limited to 80 units and priced at 12.77 million yen, while the "Q6 Sportback e-tron Edition One Blue" is limited to 20 units and priced at 12.92 million yen.
