Wheelbase Extended by 180mm from the New S-Class Long-Wheelbase Model

Born 100 years after the Maybach marque, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is Mercedes-Benz's flagship, a new form of luxury vehicle that further extends the wheelbase by 180mm from the long-wheelbase model of the new S-Class, incorporating all of its latest technologies.
The exterior design is based on a classic three-box sedan, featuring perfect proportions that adhere to the traditional sedan style of short front and long rear overhangs.
The bonnet, with its chrome fins centrally placed, and the Mercedes-Maybach-exclusive front grille exude a majestic atmosphere. The vertically oriented, three-dimensional trim of the striking front grille is inscribed with the word "MAYBACH" in chrome, part of the brand name. The chrome-finished air intakes in the front bumper emphasize horizontal volume.
Although the wheelbase is extended by 180mm compared to the S-Class, the rear doors are designed for improved ingress and egress, and the C-pillar, angled more vertically, creates a well-balanced side view. The C-pillar features a fixed quarter light enclosed by a frame that integrates into the side trim, and the Maybach brand emblem, emphasizing the car's special status.
The door handles are retractable. 20-inch forged disc alloy wheels are standard, with optional 21-inch forged multi-spoke alloy wheels available. Additionally, a brand logo projector light illuminates the Maybach emblem onto the ground when the front doors are opened.
The two-tone body color, planned for future optional introduction, involves custom painting at a specialized facility, taking up to a week for the body to return to the regular production line. The entire body shell undergoes manual polishing, and all masking is done by hand. Skilled craftsmen meticulously repeat delicate work, such as precise positioning and the narrow, 4mm dividing line.
