Two Battery Sizes Available

The Taycan, following the all-wheel-drive Taycan Turbo S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan 4S models with front and rear motors, is positioned as an entry-level model with a single rear-wheel-drive motor.
Two battery sizes are available. The Performance Battery model with a total capacity of 79.2 kWh generates a maximum output of 408 PS (300 kW) with Launch Control and overboost engaged. It achieves 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, a top speed of 230 km/h, and a range (WLTP) of 431 km.
Opting for the optional 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus increases the maximum output to 476 PS (350 kW). While acceleration and top speed remain unchanged, the range extends to 484 km. This option also includes a color Head-Up Display and an onboard charger with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW.
The Taycan's exterior is characterized by 19-inch Aero alloy wheels and black anodized brake calipers. The black front apron, side sills, and rear diffuser are the same as those on the 4S model.
The suspension features steel springs as standard, unlike the air suspension used in previous models (air suspension is available as an option). The brakes are equipped with 360mm ventilated discs and six-piston aluminum monobloc calipers at the front, and 358mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear.
The price is 11.71 million yen.
