PHEV Model with a 65km Range Covers Daily Life

The powertrain is available as either a gasoline engine or a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The gasoline engine is a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbo producing a maximum output of 180ps and a maximum torque of 250Nm. The PHEV model combines a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbo with an electric motor, achieving a maximum output of 225ps and a maximum torque of 360Nm. It can travel 65km on battery power alone.

The suspension is equipped as standard with the new "Progressive Hydraulic Cushions (PHC)" system, a successor to Citroën's unique hydropneumatic suspension, described as a "magic carpet." By incorporating secondary dampers within the shock absorbers, it suppresses shocks that could not be absorbed by conventional systems, achieving a flat ride.

In the PHEV model, this system is further evolved with the debut of Advanced Comfort Active Suspension, which controls the damper hydraulics according to the driving mode.

Safety equipment includes Safety & Driver Assist. In addition to Active Cruise Control, radar is installed in the corners of the rear bumper to detect approaching vehicles from behind and illuminate LEDs in the door mirrors. The detection range has been expanded to up to 75 meters by replacing the conventional sonar with radar, and new functions such as Rear Traffic Alert, which detects and warns of approaching vehicles and pedestrians from blind spots when reversing, are also included.

Body colors include four options such as Blanc Nacre (white) and Noir Perlanera (black). Prices are 4.84 million yen for the Shine (made-to-order), 5.30 million yen for the Shine Pack, and 6.36 million yen for the plug-in hybrid.
