Citroën's flagship model has been renewed. The C5 X is a model that incorporates a unique design combining a sedan, station wagon, and SUV.
The C5 X is based on the "CXperience Concept" exhibited at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and features a V-shaped lighting signature reminiscent of the C4. The bottom's chrome treatment creates a dignified presence.
With dimensions of 4,805mm in length, 1,865mm in width, and 1,490mm in height, it is positioned in the D-segment. The wheelbase is 2,785mm, an increase of 66mm over the previous C5 sedan, creating a comfortable space for five adults.
The interior features a horizontal dashboard and Citroën's unique high-density, thick Advanced Comfort seats. The trunk is designed with the usability of a station wagon in mind, offering 545 liters of space normally, expanding to a maximum of 1,640 liters with the rear seats folded. It is also equipped with a hands-free electric tailgate that opens and closes automatically when you wave your foot under the rear bumper.
A 12-inch touchscreen equipped with the new generation infotainment system is installed at the top center of the dashboard. The connected navigation system is standard, enabling route searches using real-time traffic information and intuitive operation similar to a smartphone.
Furthermore, various functions such as destination, air conditioning temperature settings, hands-free calls, and weather forecasts can be operated by voice, and it also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
