Exterior Features M Sport Package, Newly Introduced to Japan

A special model, limited to 180 units, has been created for the BMW 1 Series, the brand's entry-level model.
The exterior is equipped with the M Sport exterior package, making its debut in Japan. While emphasizing sportiness, it also features special paint from the "BMW Individual" customization program, a first for a BMW compact segment model, offered in three colors.
Inside, it boasts Illuminated Trim 'Berlin,' with a light source behind the trim that vividly colors the cabin, along with a HiFi audio system. Furthermore, for 90 of the 180 units, it's possible to opt for perforated Dakota leather in Mocha, a color not usually available, creating a presence that transcends the standard model both inside and out.
The base model is the "118d Play Edition Joy Plus," powered by a 2-liter diesel engine producing a maximum output of 110 kW (150 hp) and peak torque of 350 Nm. It drives the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The body colors and sales quantities are limited to 180 units in total: 70 units in Sepia Violet, 30 units in Ruby Red, and 80 units in Hockenheim Silver. The price is 5.12 million yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-November 2021.
