The "Neue Klasse" represents BMW's vision for future electric mobility, encompassing a wide range of advancements in electric powertrains, display and control concepts, digitalization, connectivity, design, and sustainability. This vision will be reflected in all future models.

The "BMW iX3" presented here marks a significant technological leap, according to BMW, with an exterior distinct from previous BMWs and the vehicle's driving characteristics managed by the entirely in-house developed "BMW Dynamic Performance Control Software." Sales in Japan are slated to begin in the latter half of 2026.

MINI Paul Smith Edition

MINI's world premiere is the "MINI Paul Smith Edition." This special edition sees the MINI Cooper family adorned with the sophisticated design and world of British designer Paul Smith, including his signature stripes.

This special collaboration model will be available for the MINI Cooper 3-door, 5-door, and Convertible. The all-electric (BEV) versions are already on sale, with internal combustion engine models scheduled for release starting in 2026.

Also on display is the limited-edition high-performance sports car "BMW M2 CS," making its Japan debut, alongside the elegant 3-door concept car "Speedtop," which premiered at the prestigious "Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2025" held on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, this past May.

Further enhancing the display is the "BMW X7 Nishiki Lounge," embodying a luxurious ride elegantly fused with traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Based on the "BMW X7," this unique model highlights its special nature through an interior evoking a starry sky created with Kyoto's traditional techniques and a dedicated two-tone exterior.

The "Japan Mobility Show 2025" is open to the public until Sunday, November 9th, at Tokyo Big Sight.
