Silhouette Evokes the Original Model

Audiannounced it will unveil the third-generation new "TT" at the Geneva Motor Show held in early March. Ahead of its world premiere, design sketches have now been released.

Like previous models, the styling remains unmistakably TT, but it now features a new front fascia. The distinctive front grille is now wider and hexagonal, with V-shaped creases etched into the engine hood.

Audi's "Four Rings" brand logo has moved from its traditional position above the grille to the bonnet, similar to theR8. It remains to be seen whether this will become a theme for future sports models or be adopted across all Audi models.

Audi states that this third-generation TT returns to its roots, incorporating many design elements from the first model. Prominent wheel arches, both front and rear, and the dual exhaust pipes are just a few of the geometric lines that combine to create a sense of front-to-back and left-to-right symmetry.

The interior is expected to feature the new-generation system unveiled at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas last year. The distinctive instrument panel will be entirely digital, with a 12.3-inch TFT monitor displaying all the information a driver needs, including navigation, speedometer, and engine revs.

The full picture of the new TT is finally coming into view. Details will be revealed at the 84th Geneva International Motor Show, which begins with press days on March 4th.
