Concept Models Illustrating Subaru's Vision for "Freer Mobility"
The "Japan Mobility Show 2023," which has significantly shifted its focus to introducing a diverse range of vehicles, saw Subaru unveil two concept models as next-generation mobility, marking their world debut.
Among these, the "Subaru Air Mobility Concept," a "flying mobility" vehicle, is particularly noteworthy. Emerging as a concept model that embodies Subaru's vision for "freer mobility" amidst advancements in electrification and automation technologies.
The "Subaru Air Mobility Concept" is currently undergoing flight verification through the collaboration of aerospace and automotive engineers, making it an exciting prospect for realization.
Furthermore, the "Subaru Sport Mobility Concept" is a BEV concept model that expresses the joy of driving freely, from everyday to extraordinary, and going anywhere one wishes, even in the age of electrification.
Its fundamental structure is based on the concept of controlling all four wheels as the driver intends, while a low seating position ensures excellent visibility and peripheral awareness, creating a package that allows for enjoyable and confident driving.
The exterior features a clean design with taut surfaces, achieved by minimizing body panels and character lines.
In addition, the latest production models, such as the upcoming "Levorg Layback 'Limited EX'," the improved BEV "Solterra 'ET-HS'," and the special edition "Forester 'X Edition'," are also being showcased for the first time.
The "Japan Mobility Show 2023" is being held at Tokyo Big Sight until Sunday, November 5th.
