Mitsubishi's theme for its booth at the Japan Mobility Show was "FOREVER ADVENTURE." The company stated this embodies their desire to deliver the timeless wonder of adventure.
The "ELEVANCE Concept," making its world premiere, is an electric crossover SUV that pursues a refined experience of time spent in a vehicle.
Its smooth, seamless styling, combined with a quad motor and the proprietary "S-AWC (Super-All Wheel Control)" system, promises a comfortable and secure drive in various settings, from urban environments to the great outdoors.
The powertrain features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system with an engine compatible with carbon-neutral fuels. Leveraging its large-capacity battery, it enhances the adventure experience, making stays at remote destinations as comfortable and enriching as glamping, especially when paired with a towing trailer.
The interior is designed with a seamless aesthetic, and the "AI Co-Driver" is displayed on LCD screens within the steering wheel and instrument panel. It suggests destinations tailored to the driver's lifestyle, transforming the journey itself into a unique, personal experience and proposing a refined style of adventure.
Also on display was a prototype of the significantly improved "Delica D:5." The update incorporates the "S-AWC" system, which independently controls each of the four wheels. By enhancing the drive modes to deliver optimal performance according to road conditions, the vehicle's handling stability and off-road capability have been improved.
The exterior features a newly designed front grille and bumper, said to express both ruggedness and sophistication.
In addition, the recently fully-model-changed "Delica Mini" and official shop offerings were presented, showcasing the "FOREVER ADVENTURE" concept throughout the entire booth.
The Japan Mobility Show 2025 will be open to the public from Friday, October 31st at 1:30 PM to Sunday, November 9th at Tokyo Big Sight.
