A "Wilderness" prototype with a tougher, more rugged design will also be shown

Subaru's booth is characterized by two distinct zones: one expressing the joy of driving, labeled "Performance," and another evoking the excitement of embarking on an adventure, labeled "Adventure."

Performance-E STI concept

The Performance zone will feature two "STI" concept models, both making their world premiere.

The "Performance-E STI concept" is a BEV that embodies Subaru's future. It fuses high aerodynamic performance and practicality with a design that also evokes its heritage.

Performance-B STI concept

Meanwhile, the "Performance-B STI concept" is a concept model based on an internal combustion engine. It proposes a model that offers the joy of driving by flexibly arranging Subaru's honed assets, such as its horizontally opposed turbo engine and Symmetrical AWD.

Trailseeker

The Japanese specification of the new "Trailseeker," the second model in Subaru's BEV lineup, will also be unveiled for the first time. Subaru claims it is a model that balances the driving performance of a BEV with precise control and the practicality of a crossover utility vehicle.

Forester Wilderness prototype

Outback Wilderness prototype

Additionally, prototypes of the "Wilderness" concept model, based on the "Forester" and the "Outback" (which is not currently sold in Japan), will be presented. These models are said to feature a tougher, more rugged design, enhancing their off-road capability and functionality.

1983 Subaru GL Family Huckster

Furthermore, Subaru of America's motorsports division will exhibit the "1983 Subaru GL Family Huckster," a model built on a 1983 Subaru GL Wagon, incorporating the latest technology to achieve both an exterior that conveys Subaru's DNA and impressive performance.

The booth offers a comprehensive display of Subaru's distinctive character across various facets.

The Japan Mobility Show 2025 will be open to the public until November 9 (Sunday) at Tokyo Big Sight.
