A Red Bull Racing Version of the Megane R.S. Arrives!
To commemorate Red Bull Racing's third consecutive Constructors' Championship title in the F1 Grand Prix, Renault is releasing a limited edition model of the "Megane Renault Sport" hot hatch, the "Megane Renault Sport Red Bull Racing RB8."

Celebrating the Red Bull Racing Champions
To commemorate Red Bull Racing's third consecutive Constructors' Championship title in the F1 Grand Prix, Renault is releasing a limited edition model of the "Megane Renault Sport" hot hatch, the "Megane Renault Sport Red Bull Racing RB8," named after the F1 machine.
The "Megane Renault Sport Red Bull Racing RB8" can be seen as the successor to theMegane Renault Sport Red Bull Racing RB7model, which was also released in Japan last year.
The exterior is painted in a special "Twilight Blue" body color, inspired by Red Bull Racing's colors, with Titanium Grey F1 blades (front lip spoiler), door mirrors, and a rear lip spoiler creating a beautiful contrast.
Additionally, Red Bull Racing logos adorn the rear and lower sides of the body, while the rear glass features a decal commemorating the 2012 Constructors' title victory.
The interior is equipped with exclusive Recaro seats and aluminum scuff plates. Centered on the console is the "R-Link," a touch-screen tablet-style multimedia system that provides navigation, vehicle information, and downloadable applications.
The "RS Monitor" has also been updated to version 2.0. In addition to displaying and recording engine output and G-sensor data, it now includes GPS tracking for lap time measurement, data output via USB, and a special Red Bull Racing main screen.
The powertrain remains unchanged from the base model, featuring a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing a maximum output of 265 ps. It is also equipped with reinforced springs, dampers, an anti-roll bar, an LSD, and Brembo brake calipers. The wheels are fitted withthe "Megane R.S. Trophy," which set the fastest Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time for a production front-wheel-drive car.19-inch "Potenza RE050A" tires, the same as those on the "Megane R.S. Trophy."
This "Megane R.S. Red Bull Racing RB8" will be sold in 26 countries, with prices starting from 36,000 euros in France. Sales are scheduled to begin at the end of June. There is currently no information regarding its introduction to Japan.
