"Twin'Z" is the fifth model in a series of six concept cars themed around different stages of human life, a design strategy for Renault. Previously, under the "Life Cycle Concept," models such as "DeZir" themed around "Love," and "Captur" themed around "Exploration," and "R-Space" themed around "Family," and "Frendzy" themed around "Work" have been unveiled. The theme for the current Twin'Z is "Play." The remaining one is "Wisdom."Captur" have been unveiled. And the theme for the current Twin'Z is "Play." Ross Lovegrove, who was responsible for the Twin'Z's design, received a commission from Renault and created sketches inspired by nature. Renault's design team, led by Laurens van den Acker, then added the latest 3D processing to these sketches.

The powertrain is an electric motor producing a maximum output of 50kW (68hp). The Twin'Z is a rear-wheel-drive EV. Furthermore, by adopting a tubular frame chassis with a carbon fiber body shell and placing the wheels as close to the corners as possible, it achieves maximum interior space despite its compact size of just 3.62 meters in length. The front and rear doors are pillarless, electric, and dual-opening, enhancing the sense of openness when entering and exiting.

LEDs are embedded throughout the organic design of the body, characteristic of Lovegrove's style, creating a fantastical atmosphere. The light particles spread from Renault's diamond emblem on the front grille to the sides, flowing through the A-pillars to the rear, expressing the car's energy.

The wheels, also inspired by nature, feature a design that branches out from the center towards the outside, a pattern that is carried over to the tires specially made by Michelin.

The transparent rear spoiler, located at the rear, not only functions to generate downforce but also visually emphasizes lightness. Below it, the car's name "Twin'Z" is inscribed in gold, while the name "LOVEGROVE" is etched on the lower part of the front doors.

The interior is also adorned with sensual lines of light. The ceiling is a glass roof, allowing the exterior LEDs to illuminate the interior. The overall cabin is enveloped by two-toned lines, which also express the flow of energy. All parts are seamlessly connected, creating a sense of unity, including the occupants.

The seats consist of a green lightweight frame, appearing to grow from the ground, covered with a three-dimensionally woven blue net. The net itself acts as a water-repellent cushion, contributing to weight reduction. The seatbacks of the rear seats also serve as part of the body shell.

This Twin'z design will likely be inherited by future Renault compact cars, such as the Twingo.
