Bleu infini

Since the launch of the premium compact hatchback "DS3" in Japan, the lineup has expanded with the "DS4", and "DS5", while each model has also seen various developments. The Citroen "DS Line" is characterized by its unique design that balances sportiness and luxury.

The latest news from the DS Line in Japan is the arrival of the "DS3 Ultra Marine." It went on sale January 31st, with a limited production run of 100 units.

The most striking feature of the DS3 Ultra Marine is the new "Bleu infini" color adorning the roof, door mirrors, and dashboard. This deep blue, described as "infinite" in French, creates a vivid and sharp impression for the DS3, especially against the white body.



The rear combination lamps feature a new design with 3D LED lamps. This design was first adopted in the concept car "Survolt", and combines LEDs and reflectors to create an illusion of infinite depth. A chrome DS logo is embedded on the outer edge of the lamps.

The leather seats, a first for the DS Line, are finished in blue. Additionally, the car is equipped with an 8-speaker HiFi audio system.

The engine is the same 1.6-liter 4-cylinder as in the standard DS3. The lineup consists of two models: the "DS3 Chic Ultra Marine," limited to 40 units at 2,540,000 yen, featuring a naturally aspirated engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission; and the "DS3 Sport Chic Ultra Marine," limited to 60 units at 2,740,000 yen, equipped with a turbocharged engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.
