Idling Stop and Regenerative Braking System

The "Megane Renault Sport" is a genuine sports model born from Renault Sport, the division within Renault that handles competition vehicles. It also holds the title for the fastest production front-wheel-drive car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

This update introduces the "Start & Stop" function, which stops the engine during periods like waiting at traffic lights and automatically restarts upon acceleration, and "Energy Smart Management," which utilizes deceleration energy for power generation, thereby reducing the engine load associated with it.



However, this feature is only available on standard models equipped with 19-inch wheels, or when selecting custom-order vehicles such as the "R.S. RED PACK," which includes an F1-type air inlet and side decals, or the "R.S. PACK LUXE," which combines a fixed sunroof with Recaro leather seats.

Consequently, the prices for all models equipped with the new features will increase by 40,000 yen. There is no price change for the standard model with 18-inch wheels that does not include the new functions.
