Combining EVs and AI to Propose Expanded Human Potential and Richer Lives

At this year's Tokyo Motor Show, Honda's booth concept, "Take yourself, further and further," will propose the expanded potential of human lives and richer living through mobility. Alongside the world premiere of the "Sports EV Concept," many electric vehicles will be showcased.

The "Sports EV Concept," which combines EVs and artificial intelligence (AI), is a sibling model to the "Urban EV Concept"Urban EV Concept," which had its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will also appear at the Tokyo Motor Show. While sharing the same platform, it has been developed with the aim of creating a next-generation sports car distinct from the "Urban EV Concept."

Meanwhile, the "NeuV," making its Japan premiere, is an EV concept that explores the potential of automated driving technology and AI, such as supporting safe driving by assessing the driver's stress levels based on their facial expressions and tone of voice. The AI is expected to learn the driver's lifestyle and preferences, suggest options based on the situation, and even autonomously drive for ride-sharing when the owner is not using it.

In addition, the "CR-V," which is set to launch in Japan, along with the "Clarity PHEV", "Legend," and "Odyssey" will also be exhibited.

The motorsports zone will feature interactive exhibits, allowing visitors to experience motorsports firsthand by sitting in actual racing machines.

The Tokyo Motor Show will hold press days on October 25 and 26. It will be open to the public from October 27 and will run until November 5.
