Thin Battery Enables Comfortable Seating for Four Adults

The BEV model "N-ONE e:" has arrived in Honda's mini-vehicle series "N-ONE." While inheriting the spacious interior and ease of use characteristic of the N-ONE, the battery mounted under the floor has been thinned to allow for comfortable seating for four adults.
With the dive-down mechanism, the rear seats can be folded down to create a flat floor extending from the cargo area. The seat bases can also be flipped up to accommodate tall items, allowing for versatile seat arrangements.
To achieve a more natural driving posture, the seating position remains the same as the conventional N-ONE, but the steering wheel has been moved 37 mm closer to the driver, enhancing stability during steering and accelerator operation.
Additionally, the shape of the front hood has been refined to improve visibility from the driver's seat, further enhancing maneuverability.
The charging port is located in the front grille, allowing for smooth entry and exit while charging. Its relatively low height for a tall wagon means it can be parked in many multi-story car parks.
The exterior design, based on the N-ONE, expresses the clean aesthetic unique to EVs. The interior has been designed to feel spacious by tidying up the upper part of the instrument panel.
Furthermore, as part of Honda's initiative to achieve a zero environmental impact society, the front grille uses "bumper recycled material" made from recycled bumpers of discarded Honda vehicles.
The beige trim on the upper part of the instrument panel utilizes plant-derived bio-resin, and the floor carpet is made from recycled PET bottles.
The total battery capacity is 29.6 kWh. By efficiently packaging high-voltage components such as the miniaturized powertrain, motor, and control units, a cruising range of 295 km in WLTC mode has been achieved on a single charge.
Using the AC external power supply "Honda Power Supply Connector," it can output up to 1,500W, making it usable for outdoor activities like camping and as a power source during emergencies.
It produces a maximum output of 47 kW (64 ps) and a maximum torque of 162 Nm, driven by FF. In terms of driving, in addition to the quiet and smooth acceleration unique to EVs, it features single-pedal control for the first time in a Honda passenger car.
Standard safety equipment includes "Honda SENSING," which comprises features like Collision Mitigation Braking System and Pedestrian Collision Mitigation Steering. Additionally, it is the first Honda mini-vehicle to be equipped with "Traffic Jam Assist."
Through a smartphone app, users can check the N-ONE e:'s battery level and set parameters such as maximum charging current and charging standby time. Furthermore, by subscribing to a paid service, features like automatic map updates and digital key access become available.
The body colors include the new Cheerful Green, along with Platinum White Pearl and three other colors, for a total of five options. There are two grades: "e:G," a display-less (navigation-less) specification, and "e:L," which includes a display, 14-inch wheels, and rapid charging as standard.
The price for the "e:G" is 2,699,400 yen, and the "e:L" is 3,198,800 yen.
