On September 8th, local time, Jaguar Land Rover held its inaugural "Tech Fest 2017" event in London, featuring exhibitions and panel discussions on the future of mobility. During the event, the company announced that by 2020, all Jaguar Land Rover models will include electrified variants.

Full EV Model Jaguar "I-PACE" to Launch in 2018
"Tech Fest," held for the first time, aimed to explore the role of technology in reshaping the automotive industry and the world around it. The event featured a variety of interactive exhibits and discussions.
The announcement made during the event was the introduction of electrified models across all Jaguar Land Rover vehicles by 2020. CEO Dr. Ralf Speth commented, "From 2020, Jaguar Land Rover will offer a wide range of choices with electrified models including EVs (Electric Vehicles), PHEVs (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles), and MHEVs (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles)."
As a precursor to this 2020 commitment, Jaguar's first full EV, theI-PACE, has already been announced for release next year.
